| Botox Cosmetic BOTOX® is the purified form of the natural protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, which when applied to targeted muscles in very low doses can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Dr. Shin will determine where to administer the injections by examining your ability to move certain muscles in your brow area. He then anesthetizes the area using a topical or local anesthetic and injects Botox Cosmetic using a fine needle. The entire Botox Cosmetic injection procedure takes approximately 10 minutes. |
